Length:

15 minutes

Program Notes:

"Good Friday" was written on the tragedy of a car accident in which one good friend died and another, their fiancè, survived. This piece is for the survivor, whose burden it is to continue despite the anguish and loss.

It requires some minimal staging, comfort with rhythmic movement while playing, and comfort with non-traditional approaches to improvisation.
